Deanna is especially committed to the Food & Culinary Professionals (a practice group of the American Dietetic Association) whose mission is to increase food/culinary expertise throughout the dietetic profession. She is a Past Chair of the 2,200+-member association, which continues to grow in numbers. She is also active with Les Dames d’Escoffier International and the International Association of Culinary Professionals.

Deanna has two undergraduate degrees from Penn State University in marketing and nutrition - she is also a die-hard Nittany Lion football fan, and spends the off-season rooting for the Phillies. Her husband and young daughter keep her inspired to create appealing, good-for-you family cuisine.
